Buildda was founded in 2024 as a B/General contractor (CA #1131088) serving Los Angeles homeowners across Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Riverside & San Bernardino Counties. We focus on the home-improvement scope that determines how a house looks and performs from the outside in - roofing, exterior painting, decks, driveways, hardscape, and full backyard remodels - plus the kitchen and bathroom remodels homeowners typically take on alongside that work.
Most of what we do is permit-required scope: roofing tear-offs, structural decks, additions, electrical and plumbing rework. That means we have to know the local plan-check process in Culver City, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, and the surrounding cities, because the rules change at the city line. Every estimate is itemized - line by line, scope by scope - so you can see what you're paying for materials, what you're paying for labor, and what you're paying for permits. No bundled "everything included" numbers, because those obscure where the money actually goes. If we have to walk away mid-project for a city inspection or a long-lead-time material, you see that on the schedule before we start, not as a surprise on day fourteen.
You work with one project advisor from first walkthrough to final sign-off. That person pulls the permits, schedules the trades, runs the inspections, and is the one phone number you call when something changes. We coordinate permits, sub trades, and inspections under our B/General license, with the licensed specialty subs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) on the permit alongside us per BPC 7057(b). Every project carries a 2-year workmanship warranty in writing.
