The Process
We do full tear-offs on every replacement -we never overlay new shingles on top of old ones. Overlays hide damage, void most manufacturer warranties, and add weight your structure was not designed for. When we tear off your old roof, we inspect every square foot of decking for soft spots, rot, and water damage. If we find problems, we photograph them and show you before proceeding.
We install CertainTeed Presidential and Landmark shingles, Owens Corning Duration and Oakridge lines, and GAF Timberline for standard projects. All products we use meet California Title 24 cool roof requirements -this is mandatory for any re-roof covering more than 50% of the roof area. Cool roof shingles reflect solar heat instead of absorbing it, which lowers your energy bills and is required by California building code.
