The Project

The Project

On this house in Palms, we took the old wood siding off the front and both sides and replaced it with fiber-cement lap siding. Behind the old siding we found rotted sheathing; it was replaced and covered with a weather barrier before the new siding went on. We also replaced six windows, patched the stucco at two of the openings, added new rain gutters, and primed and painted the house teal with white trim.

When the old siding came off, the sheathing behind it was rotted in places, like this section below a window.
