Buildda Tip
The secret to pavers that do not shift or settle is the base preparation. We compact each layer in 2-inch lifts and use the correct aggregate gradation for your soil type. Skipping this step is why so many paver patios develop low spots within the first year.

Paver projects in Culver City range from small front walkways in Carlson Park to full backyard transformations in McManus and Sunkist Park. The Spanish Colonial Revival homes in the historic district pair well with Saltillo-style or tumbled paver designs that complement the original architecture. Modern homes in Downtown Culver City near the tech campuses tend toward clean-cut, geometric paver patterns in gray and charcoal tones. For properties near Baldwin Hills, soil compaction is critical because the clay-heavy soil expands and contracts with seasonal moisture changes. Many CC homeowners combine paver patios with artificial turf to create drought-tolerant outdoor living spaces that comply with water conservation goals.

Our Process
We assess your project area, discuss your design preferences, and help you select the perfect paver style, color, and pattern. You'll receive a detailed proposal with material samples.
Once you've selected your pavers, we order materials and coordinate delivery. We ensure adequate material for the project plus extra for future repairs.
We excavate to the proper depth, typically 7-9 inches for patios and 12+ inches for driveways. Proper excavation is critical for long-lasting results.
We install and compact multiple layers of crushed aggregate base material. This foundation prevents settling and ensures your pavers stay level for decades.
Pavers are precisely laid according to your chosen pattern on a bed of leveling sand. Edge restraints are installed, and pavers are cut to fit edges and curves.
Polymeric sand is swept into joints and activated with water. The surface is compacted with a plate compactor, and final cleanup reveals your beautiful new hardscape.
